About Us
Have a Go Crafts is a small, family run business based in Shipdham, Norfolk, run by a mum and daughter team — Sue and Laura (and often joined by our littlest helper Scarlett!). We share a love of creativity and handmade crafts, and we’re passionate about inspiring others to enjoy making things by hand too.
Out & About
You’ll often find us at local craft fairs, markets, and community events, where we bring along a selection of our products and run our popular “Have a Go at Crochet” activity. It’s a fun, friendly way for people of all ages to try crochet for the first time — no pressure, no jargon, just the joy of learning something new. Seeing someone’s face light up when they master their first stitch is one of the best parts of what we do.

As well as our in-person events, we sell a range of craft kits, beautiful yarns, and crocheted items through our online shop, so you can enjoy a little creativity wherever you are. We also happily take custom orders and requests, whether it’s a specific crochet project you’ve been dreaming of or a personalised gift made just for someone special.
